Our Commitment to You

Let's C.R.E.A.T.E. is dedicated to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants aged 12-21. We are a non-clinical therapeutic arts program that complements, but does not replace, professional mental health care.

Our community thrives when everyone feels safe to express themselves creatively, share their experiences, and support one another with kindness and respect.

Expected Behavior

✅ Please DO:

  • Treat all participants, facilitators, and staff with respect and kindness
  • Listen actively when others are sharing
  • Keep personal information shared in the community confidential
  • Use inclusive and supportive language
  • Ask for consent before taking photos or videos of others
  • Report concerns to staff or administrators immediately
  • Credit sources when sharing others' creative work
  • Celebrate diversity and different perspectives
Prohibited Behavior

❌ The following are NOT allowed:

  • Bullying, harassment, or intimidation of any kind
  • Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic
  • Sharing explicit or inappropriate content (sexual, violent, or graphic material)
  • Cyberbullying or trolling other participants
  • Sharing personal contact information (phone numbers, addresses, etc.) publicly
  • Impersonating others or creating fake accounts
  • Spamming or excessive self-promotion
  • Encouraging self-harm or dangerous behavior
  • Disrupting activities or disrespecting facilitators
  • Using the platform for commercial purposes without permission
  • Plagiarizing or stealing others' creative work
Online Community Guidelines
  • Treat all community members with respect and kindness
  • Use appropriate language free from profanity, hate speech, or discriminatory content
  • Share constructively and avoid posting content that could be harmful or triggering
  • Respect others' privacy and confidentiality
  • Report inappropriate behavior to administrators
  • Understand that posts may be moderated for community safety
In-Person Workshop Guidelines
  • Arrive on time and participate respectfully in all activities
  • Listen actively and support fellow participants
  • Keep personal information shared in workshops confidential
  • Follow facilitator instructions and safety guidelines
  • Use art supplies and materials responsibly
  • Maintain appropriate physical boundaries
Content & Posting Guidelines

When Sharing Creative Work:

  • Ensure content is appropriate for all ages (12-21)
  • Only share work you created or have permission to share
  • Use content warnings for potentially triggering topics
  • Be mindful that all content may be reviewed by administrators
  • Respect copyright laws and intellectual property

In Community Discussions:

  • Stay on topic and contribute meaningfully to conversations
  • Disagree respectfully without personal attacks
  • Avoid trauma-dumping; use appropriate support resources instead
  • Remember this is a wellness space, not a replacement for therapy
Privacy & Confidentiality

What's Shared Here, Stays Here: Personal stories and experiences shared in our community should remain confidential. Do not share others' information or stories outside the platform without explicit permission.

Your Privacy Matters: You control what you share. You can choose to post anonymously, keep work private, or share publicly with the community.

Data Protection: We follow strict data protection protocols. Your personal information is never sold or shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Reporting Concerns & Moderation

If you see something concerning, please report it immediately to our administrators. All reports are taken seriously and reviewed promptly.

How to Report:

  • Use the "Report" button on any post or comment
  • Contact administrators directly through the platform
  • For urgent safety concerns, call our support line: 914-266-2775

Content Moderation: All shared content may be reviewed by our moderation team to ensure compliance with these guidelines. Inappropriate content will be removed.

Consequences of Violations

We take violations of our community guidelines seriously. Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, consequences may include:

  • First Offense: Warning and content removal
  • Second Offense: Temporary suspension (7 days) from posting and community features
  • Serious or Repeated Violations: Permanent account suspension and removal from the program
  • Illegal Activity: Immediate suspension and potential law enforcement involvement

Note: We reserve the right to skip steps in serious cases (e.g., threats of violence, hate speech, illegal activity).

In Case of Emergency

Remember: Let's C.R.E.A.T.E. is NOT a crisis intervention service. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger:
